Gone With the Wind Museum- My top 5 favorite films of all times is prominent in the Marietta area, due to its rich history. There are two museums full of rich information, especially regarding Hattie McDaniel who was the first African American woman to win an Oscar for her supporting role in the film. There is still a lot of controversy surrounding the lack of representation to this day.

Marietta Square- This is a very popular area with great food, rich history, and amazing artistry/events. One location of the Gone With the Wind museums is located here also.

Covington, Ga- One of my favorite shows, The Vampire Diaries, was filmed here and to know it’s an actual town is great. I love the natural scenery and background it provided for the show.
